Salt River road to be closed this Sunday for repairs
The closure, which will be between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., is to facilitate the replacement of a HDPE pipe culvert that had been damaged prior to the start of the New Year.
Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, Stephen Shaw says the culvert collapsed in the last few days of December 2022 reducing the corridor to single lane traffic. He says the works, this weekend, will see the culvert being replaced and the roadway restored to drivable conditions.
During the period of works motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes to access their destinations.
