Customers served by this facility are impacted even further as normal service was disrupted prior to facilitate routine maintenance work.
The pump was taken out last Tuesday and the facility de-energised, Clive Brown, NWC manager for Old Harbour region, said.
He said the NWC will try to service the affected communities periodically but was unable to give a timeframe when normal service will return.
Therefore, customers from the Aviary and New Harbour villages will experience low water pressure, as the Colbeck facility supplements the water system to these communities.
However, customers living in Colbeck and Planters Hall are without normal supply at present.
