Two shot in Burke Road drive-by shooting

Two persons have been shot during a drive-by gun attack on Burke Road, Old Harbour late this morning.

The attack reportedly happened sometime between 11:30 am and 12 noon.

Their condition is unknown at this time but believed to be no life-threatening.

Information reaching Old Harbour News is that a group of people had converged opposite to an upholstery shop in the lane when the shooting occurred.

The injured men were rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.

Investigators are still at the scene trying to ascertain a motive for the shooting.
