The Bushy Park CDC feted over 200 children from within the region

Over 200 children from approximately six basic schools were recently feted by the Bushy Park Community Development Committee (CDC).

The event was held at the Bushy Park Seventh Day Adventist Church at Gutters where every child – all drawn from within the CDC region – as well as teachers, were fed and issued gifts ahead of the festive season.

Audrey Maragh, public relations officer of the Bushy Park CDC, said the annual event was one of the best this year.

“As you already know the CDC’s role is to bring communities and stakeholders from within our region together. It is very important and every year it gets better and better. People were just pleased. This year was really nice,” Maragh told Old Harbour News.
