Today we celebrate Heaven's lost and Earth's gain. What was God thinking?

We don't take care of things down here. Down here, we decay, we die. His Son was not in a good place. The paradise He placed in Adam's hand is now a wilderness. Why did His Most Royal Majesty, God the Son become human?

Well, He did so because we needed Him. We were empty, so He came to fill us; we were sick, so He came to heal us; we were lost, so He came to find us; we were dead, so He came to quicken us. He didn't need us, but we surely needed Him. We had all fallen short of His glorious standard, so the Father sent His Son. The Son of God became the Son of man so that we sons of men can become sons of God. So today, we celebrate Christ. We need all that He has for us. We need Him to be our all in all. And so to make it happen, the Father sent His Son.

John 1:10 (KJV): But as many as received Him, to them gave the power to be called the sons of God, even to those that believe on His name.

Have a Christ-filled Christmas Day!
