Damaged bullet retrieved from Island Farm murder scene

A damaged bullet and three spent casings are among the evidence retrieved from a murder scene in Island Farm.

This follows the May 19, 2022 murder of 26-year-old Ackeem Pinnock, a labourer of Gordon Wood district, Church Pen.

Pinnock, who goes by the alias ‘Lowley’, was found dead in a block factory with gunshot wounds to his face and upper torso.

According to the police, residents of the community situated on the outskirts of Gutters, three miles east of Old Harbour, heard gunshots around 9:30 Thursday morning.

When the police arrived Pinnock was found lying on his back with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was formally pronounced dead at the Spanish Town Hospital.

Investigation continues.
