Old Harbour man shot in the head remain in ‘serious but stable’ condition

The health status of a man who was shot in the head during a robbery in Red Ground district recently is said to be “serious but stable”.
In an Old Harbour News follow-up, a detective attached to the St Catherine South Police Division, informed that the injured man is out of a coma but isn’t talking.
On January 8, 2022 about 3:35 am the now hospitalized man and his friend were attacked by a lone gunman.
The friend managed to escape however, the gunman kidnapped the other, led him down the road, robbed him of approximately $35,000 before shooting him in the head.
With regards to the investigation the detective said they are assessing all the evidence before but not near making a breakthrough.
Investigation continues.
