Man held with illegal gun in Old Harbour North

A man was on Sunday taken into custody after being held with an illegal gun in Bamboo Ridge, northern Old Harbour.
He is Keron Copeland alias 'Fajjie' of Bamboo Ridge district.
Information is that Copeland, 27, was stopped and searched by the police when a 9mm Glock pistol was removed from his person.
Copeland was then taken to the Old Harbour police lockup and detained.
It is expected that formal charges will be laid later this week.
Investigation continues.
