‘Bay’ man shot dead in drive-by

He has been identified as Andrew Tugman, alias 'Hot Caan', a labourer from an area known as Settlement in the community.

According to information reaching Old Harbour News about 12:50 pm, Tugman was in Thompson Pen Lane when he was attacked and shot in the head and upper body by men who alighted from a motor vehicle.

He died on the spot.

Residents quickly ran to the scene while the police were summoned.

The area has been cordon off for scene of crime detectives to carry out an extensive analysis in search of any evidence that hopefully may lead to an arrest.

No motive has been established.
