All were baptized on the final day of the one-week camp which ended July 12.

Approximately 250 youth participated in the camp spearheaded by the Center Pointe Christian Church out of Liberty Township, Ohio.

“Rejoicing this evening about a successful week of basketball camp in Old Harbour, Jamaica and the 10 high school students who were baptized into Jesus today,” said Dennis Herko, head of Herko Family Mission and executive director of Christian Outreach International.

This year’s camp was executed under the theme Faith Can Move Mountains drawn from Matthew chapter 17 verse 20.

The annual camp has grown leaps and bounds over the years with several youngsters also receiving scholarships to further their education in the United States of America.

Clinics are run daily by qualified basketball coaches, some of whom are members of the collegiate system.
