Dad, Rowan Thomas confirmed with Old Harbour News that his eldest daughter has been reunited with the family, revealing “she turned up with an adult male” at her grandfather’s home in Old Harbour Tuesday afternoon.

The police were immediately summoned, however details of what transpired were not made public due to the sensitivity of the matter.

Thomas, who was at work at the time when Rihanna showed up at his dad’s home, said his daughter was visibly shaken. He said she was later taken to her mother’s home in

Kitson Town, a community in west central St Catherine, 17km north of Old Harbour.

Rihanna, who was described as a humble child before showing signs of rebelliousness in recent times, mysteriously disappeared from her Kitson Town home on September 17.

An investigation was launched into her disappearance while the family, fearing the worst, made several appeals via mainstream and social media.

Mr Thomas said Tuesday night was the “first time mi a sleep” since Rihanna went missing.

“To how mi sleep last night them (employers) call me and wake mi up,” he told Old Harbour News on yesterday.

The teenager will undergo medical examination and counselling in coming days, her father stated, but as for now she’s being “given time to rest”.

The family thanked the public for the role it played in influencing Rihanna to return home.
