Bodies discovered on Ascot Drive identified
The police confirmed that the deceased men are 32-year-old Damian Campbell otherwise called ‘Brappy’ of a Smith Avenue, Old Harbour address and Lamar Brown, who goes by the alias ‘Simpleton’ of Old Harbour Bay. Brown, the police said, was recently released from prison, while Campbell is believed to have a mental condition.
Both bodies had gunshot wounds to the head, the police informed Old Harbour News.
According to the investigator, residents heard loud explosions about two o'clock this morning. However, a search of the area yielded nothing.
But at daybreak, roughly 6:30 am, the police were summoned again by residents who had stumbled upon the dead men.
The scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue.
A motive is yet to be determined for the police have determined to be a double homicide.
Investigation is ongoing.
