I dreamt that we were at a camp of some sort and when we were finished, some men came to me asking for a ride home. I told them yes. After they left to wait for me at my vehicle, some ladies came and asked me for a ride home and I told them yes. I went to ready myself to leave, only to have the men to come and attack me for committing to them and then switching to the ladies without letting them know. I felt really bad and renewed my commitment to taking them, only to come under an attack from the now stranded ladies. As I tried to accommodate both groups, I was attacked by both groups. In an attempt to please everybody, I ended up pleasing nobody. Such is the nature of over-commitment. Commitment to God is a call to give Him that which He has entrusted to you. If He never gave you singing abilities, don’t be pressured to join the choir, unless your duties will be to play the soundtrack when it's time. Be where the Master has called you to be and don't be pressured into being any or everywhere else. Quite often when you are doing someone else's job, yours is not being done properly.
1 Cor. 3:8: Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
Shalom!
