Please read Genesis 24:22-35. How many times were you warned not to brag or boast? Well, this unnamed servant of Abraham certainly did not heed that warning.

First of all, he traveled first class, with 10 camels and all, to this place. Then, he opened his gift shop and in a flash, Rebekah was looking a lot more expensive than when she came to the well. The fancy jewels that were given to her seemed like just the tip of the tip of the iceberg. When she confirmed her perfect family connections, the unnamed servant showed that not only he was rich, but that he was religious. He went into worship mode (vs. 26-27). Somewhat overwhelmed by all that's happening Rebekah ran home. The gifts that she still had on gave testimony to wealth of the giver of these gifts. This had her brother running to the well, to meet this person and to invite him home. As the Eastern hospitality was fully rolled out, the unnamed servant started the bragging again. He shared about the amazing riches of his amazing master (v.35).

Have you ever had the chance, or should I say, the privilege to brag on the depth of the riche$ of our Master, God Almighty, the Owner of univer$e$ £illed with va$t $upply of all we could ever dream about and $o much more? God's trea$ure che$t is not only filled with material abundance, but with life-giving and life-enhancing items like love, joy, peace, satisfaction, security, grace, forgiveness and that is just the tip of the tip of the tip......the iceberg. As servants of the Most High God, our names are not important. What we need to do, in this church building process, is to tell people about the abundant riches of God. This is far more appealing than our names. We must proclaim the glory of God.
