Security guard killed at Old Harbour guest house
He has been identified as 46-year-old Leopold Scott popularly known as Junior of a Nightingale Grove, St Catherine address.
Information reaching Old Harbour News is that some time four o’clock this morning, Scott had an argument with a male guest, who was involved in a physical confrontation with a female.
It is further understood that the male left the premises, however, several minutes later residents heard loud explosions.
When checks were made, the deceased was found on the compound suffering from “a single gunshot wound to the left side of his chest,” the police have reported.
He was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Scott, who is well known in the Old Harbour space, is survived by three children – an adult female in her early 20s, a teenage daughter and a seven-year-old son.
Investigation continues.
