Thetford farmer found dead with multiple chop wounds
He has been identified as 68-year-old Percy Tobias of a Sweetsop Lane, Church Pen address.
His body, which had multiple chop wounds, was spotted by residents at about 6:00 am.
It is understood that Tobais had been complaining of being plagued by farm thieves.
Police theorizes that the elderly farmer may have overnight on the property to find out who was stealing his produce when he was apparently attacked.
Investigation continues.
