Old Harbour man shot in the head, dies
He has been identified as Dwayne McDaniel otherwise called ‘Maddu’ or ‘Corey’ from the same enclave.
Based on preliminary police details, about 1:15 am residents heard several gunshots rang out after which the body of the 37-year-old labourer was found with bullet wounds to the head.
The scene was processed and the body removed to the hospital where it was officially pronounced deceased by a doctor on staff and subsequently taken to the morgue where a mandatory postmortem will be done.
Investigators are yet to establish a motive for what they are treating as a homicide.
